TAG Aviation has once again secured its designation of WYVERN Wingman Certified Operator following a successful audit, recently conducted by WYVERN. The WYVERN Wingman Standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognized industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.
Joanne Goodall, Accountable Manager of TAG Aviation UK and Malta commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded our certifications as Wyvern Wingman Status for operational excellence again this year. As safety and compliance are amongst TAG’s core values, we work hard to achieve such recognition and invest in our safety operations and procedures to ensure we are not only meeting the highest safety standards but exceeding them. It is a team effort and I’m proud of the collaboration the company has shown to achieve the latest accreditation.”
Andrew Day, WYVERN Senior Vice President, Operations said: “We commend TAG Aviation for successfully renewing their WYVERN Wingman certification, which not only validates their safety management system for international compliance, but also verifies their conformance to the highest global standards and industry professional codes of practice in operations and aircraft maintenance.”
Wingman Operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, Safety Management System, internal evaluation program, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.
