Following EASA certification, the first set of Tamarack Active Winglets were installed on a Cessna 525 in Europe. The installation occurred in Zurich Switzerland on April 29th, 2016.

The first ever customer installation of Tamarack Aerospace's ATLAS™ Active Winglet system concluded on April 29th, 2016, on a Cessna Citation CJ aircraft operated by private hire company JetPingu. The installation, which took place at Textron Aviation's Service Center in Zurich, took approximately 400 man hours to install. Tamarack's Active Winglets do not require wing reinforcement, so the installation time is substantially less than a similar 'passive winglet' installation would take.
