Tamarack Aerospace Group added Global Aviation Tech as its Authorized Dealer. Initially a service center, GATECH and Tamarack have strengthened their partnership to provide high-quality, low-downtime installations of the Tamarack Active Winglets in Wichita, Kansas. GATECH is now the exclusive, authorized installer of Tamarack Active Winglets in the state, offering the upgrade in under 10 days.Global Aviation Tech was chosen because of their depth of experience as an FAA-approved Repair Station and their depth of knowledge in aerospace engineering including a strong portfolio as a Supplemental Type Certificate developer.
Eric Cunningham, Tamarack Sales Director commented: “We are thrilled to be expanding and offering top-tier upgrades in the Midwest! As we have gotten to know the team at Global Aviation Tech, we are just blown away by their depth of knowledge and we know how important the Midwest region is to our growing fleet. The increased interest following the reversal has been dramatic. We know that many folks were taking a wait-and-see approach, and now that the NTSB has cleared Tamarack, we're happy to see those clients come forward for the upgrade."
Jerome Cottner, VP of Operations at Global Aviation Tech, stated: “This technology increases overall performance allowing clients to fly longer with less fuel stops enabling operators to truly get the most out of every trip. As a dealer partner, my team will directly replicate the level of quality, attention to detail, and speed set in place by Tamarack completing installations in 10 days or less to minimize downtime for our clients. Myself and my team are thrilled to become an official dealer partner with Tamarack. Centrally located in the Midwest, we provide a cost-effective installation location for Tamarack clients. With expansion currently underway, the northeast sector will also be available very soon.”
Nick Guida, Tamarack CEO, commented: “The Tamarack team remained confident in the strength of our technology. We are proud that our dedication to safety and innovation has been recognized, and we are excited to continue offering transformative benefits to our customers.”

This expansion comes at a time of renewed interest in Tamarack Active Winglets following the early 2024 NTSB update, which affirmed the safety and reliability of the technology. The positive outcome for the company has generated increased demand for the Tamarack upgrade, underscoring the real-world benefits as the customers view the Active Winglets as a safety upgrade due to significant added fuel reserves, improved climb performance, and enhanced stability, which are safety enhancements experienced on every flight.
Tamarack has already upgraded nearly 10% of the CitationJet fleet worldwide. With the surge in demand, Tamarack is exploring an expanded network of Authorized Dealers who will stock the Tamarack kits and offer the upgrade in under 10 days, or while an aircraft is down for other maintenance or upgrades. Tamarack upgrade offers numerous benefits, including fuel savings, improved range, enhanced payload capability, better climb performance, turbulence reduction, improved safety, and emissions reductions.
