On May 28, JetNetherlands took delivery of its third Piaggio P180 Avanti as the aircraft landed in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, after a delivery flight from Tianjin, China, where the aircraft was previously operated.
The aircraft will ultimately be based in Kortrijk-Wevelgem in Belgium (EBKT), but will remain in Rotterdam for a couple of weeks first for maintenance purposes.
The aircraft has already been added onto the AOC (Air Operator Certificate) of JetNetherlands. It will be managed and operated on behalf of its owner and will be also offered to the charter market as soon as the operation of the aircraft is launched (expected in 2 to 3 weeks).
This is the third Piaggio Avanti for the Belgian & Dutch group ASL/JetNetherlands. The aircraft has proven to be very popular and reliable on the charter market, as it offers the comfort, the performances and the efficiency of a mid-light jet, combined with the operating costs and features of a twin turboprop aircraft.
The company is very pleased to welcome this new aircraft in the fleet.
