ATAG and its partners invite the aviation industry, suppliers, governments, NGOs, regulators, environmental groups and other interested parties to attend the 2015 Global Sustainable Aviation Summit, 29-30 September 2015, Geneva.
The Summit will enable an exchange of views in preparation for two key events: the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties climate talks in December 2015, and the 39th ICAO Assembly in 2016, where governments will hopefully agree on a global market-based measure for aviation.
The event will combine high-level political discussions and technical breakout sessions.
Topics will include: the roles of technology, alternative fuels and market-based measures in achieving a 50% reduction in our carbon footprint by 2050; sustainable aviation; noise mitigation; environmental management and environmental communications.
