AERO 2023 is already registering a very high level of interest from international exhibitors. The 29th edition of the trade show on Lake Constance will be accompanied by a wide-ranging conference program. The aviation industry will meet again at AERO in Friedrichshafen from April 19 - 22, 2023. The importance of the trade show for the entire General Aviation industry is already underscored by the high number of binding stand bookings from key manufacturers, service providers and organizations from around the world.

Tobias Bretzel, AERO project manager at trade show organizer fairnamic GmbH, commented: "At AERO 2023, visitors will experience the entire spectrum of general aviation." Manufacturers of piston and turboprop aircraft, ultralights, LSAs and gliders will be at the show, as will manufacturers of helicopters and business jets. Suppliers who produce avionics, engines, safety systems and other components and accessories have also already confirmed their attendance in large numbers. Unmanned aviation in the form of drones will also be prominently represented with its own exhibition area "AERO Drones"  in hall A2. Companies that have already committed to participate include Cirrus Aircraft, Piper Aircraft, Textron Aviation, FLIGHT DESIGN, TL Ultralight and Junkers Profly, to name a few.

Aviation is in a phase of transformation, determined by the thrive for more sustainability, shortage of talent and digitalization. Among other things, we are responding to this with the 'AERO Sustainable Aviation Trail' introduced last year and showing the solutions with which, the various manufacturers are taking on the challenges and shaping the future of aviation."

Innovation is firmly anchored in the genes of the AERO. For twelve years now, for example, there has been the e-flight-expo as a separate trade show focus, where manufacturers and providers of aircraft and services related to electric flight present their innovations to visitors and inform them about the possibilities of this type of propulsion. The trade show organizers are again expecting an appealing number of innovations from all sectors.

The transformation of aviation towards greater sustainability is also an integral part of the AERO Conferences, which will once again feature an extensive program. In addition to overarching conferences on topics such as airspace restructuring in Europe, hydrogen as an aviation fuel, drones in public service use and Business Aviation, there will also be presentations on topics related to practical flying and product presentations.

Aviation offers interested parties a large number of very different professions and career opportunities. But aviation fears a shortage of skilled workers in the near future. At AERO 2023, a wide range of companies will be providing information about career opportunities for newcomers and already qualified personnel. At the AERO Career Day on April 21, interested parties can network directly with the companies and organizations to initiate their professional future in aviation.
