The trade fair within the trade fair AERO Drones will continue to fly on its successful course at AERO 2025. This year, it will find a new home in Hall B4 on the first three days of the annual show. Unmanned aerial vehicles are an integral part of our society. Civilian drones have taken on a variety of tasks in all areas of life, from agriculture and rescue services to leisure activities and special tasks for authorities and organizations with security tasks. AERO Drones reflects the wide range of applications. It will take place as a “trade fair within a trade fair”  as part of the AERO in Friedrichshafen.

Due to popular demand, AERO Drones will be located in Hall B4 for the first time this year. This location not only offers more exhibition space, but was also chosen to ensure proximity to the helicopter hangar in Hall B5. Helicopter operators are often also drone operators and share the same airspace. The move of AERO Drones to Hall B4 thus enables an even more efficient exchange between existing and potential operators and manufacturers.

Tobias Bretzel, AERO show director at fairnamic GmbH, commented: “We are delighted to be able to continue our partnership with the Baden-Württemberg police at AERO Drones this year. The importance of drones is constantly increasing, which is also reflected in the growing interest in the three-day special trade fair within the trade fair. We are also delighted to have found another strong partner in the THW (Technisches Hilfswerk), which has extensive experience in the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles.”

Martin Landgraf, Head of the Baden-Württemberg Police Helicopter Squadron, stated: “The exchange with other operators of unmanned systems is of great importance to us as the Baden-Württemberg Police Helicopter Squadron. AERO Drones at AERO provides us with a very efficient way of doing this. We are delighted to be a partner of AERO Drones again.”

Among the exhibitors who have already confirmed their participation in AERO Drones are Droniq GmbH, Securiton, the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK), M4.com, Droneparts, Skyeforge AG, Bormatec and DroneControl.  At the AERO Drones Stage in Hall B4, the organizers will be offering an extensive program of lectures and presentations on issues relating to unmanned aviation that are of interest not only to drone professionals.
