Ten local general aviation companies have established the city’s first general aviation association to meet the rising demand for the industry in the East China region.
The Shanghai General Aviation Association, approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, will set up a resources bank to share talents including pilots, maintenance workers and air traffic controllers among the companies. An expert panel will also be established to do researches on the city’s general aviation development.
The association plans to organize China’s biggest annual general aviation exhibition in the Nantong Airport in neighboring Jiangsu Province from next April to hold forums and exhibit aircraft.
