As the most important European show focused entirely on the business aviation industry, the 2018 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2018) assembles the latest aircraft and aviation equipment manufacturers and suppliers, industry leaders and more in one venue. If you use aviation for business, you won’t want to miss EBACE2018. Hosted by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the event takes place in Geneva, Switzerland from 29 to 31 May.  Register for EBACE2018.

Environmental Responsibility in Focus at EBACE2018

The global business aviation community continually looks to reduce its environmental impact, as demonstrated by the Business Aviation Commitment on Climate Change (BACCC), and this responsibility also extends to EBACE2018. “While the BACCC focuses on aircraft operations, the agreement serves as a foundation for continuous environmental improvement throughout other aspects of the industry, including events like EBACE2018,” said Chris Strong, NBAA’s senior vice president, conventions and membership. “In fact, I believe this event may serve as a yardstick against which similar efforts are measured.”  Learn more.

Yves Rossy, inventor of a series of experimental individual jet packs, will inspire attendees and set the tone for an innovative, forward-thinking show at the Opening Session of EBACE2018 on Tuesday, 29 May. “I’m very pleased to be part of EBACE2018 where I will have the opportunity to share with you a new kind of flight,” he said. “We are closer and closer to realizing one of the oldest dreams of mankind – to fly like a bird.” Watch a video welcome to EBACE2018 attendees from Rossy.

EBACE2018 Education Sessions Highlight Innovation

As the European business aviation industry’s largest education venue, EBACE2018 features a variety of informative sessions addressing topics of interest. Scheduled education sessions include the looming impact of “Brexit” on global business aviation operations, access challenges at European airports and technological advances in the industry. Additionally, the Innovation Zone will host discussions focused on leading-edge ideas throughout the industry. Read more about EBACE2018 education sessions.
