Empire Aviation Group (EAG) has launched new aircraft management operations in Hong Kong with offices and staff in place, the company said at the Dubai Airshow yesterday.

EAG has set up a new joint venture company with a local partner company and is already managing a Gulfstream G650 business jet on behalf of a local owner based in Hong Kong.
The new operation will serve the domestic Hong Kong market as well as the wider region, including mainland China.
EAG had earlier announced new operations in San Marino, as the company builds out its global business model, based on personalised asset management services for aircraft owners in key regional private aviation markets.
The San Marino air operator’s certificate (AOC) also allows EAG to charter aircraft globally, regardless of where they based, which will benefit owners in the Far East.
Empire’s executive director, Paras Dhamecha, said: “Our business is rapidly expanding east and west from our base in Dubai, which still provides the perfect central hub location for a global private aviation business.
“We have been looking at the Far East for some time as private aviation has developed rapidly in recent years and, now we have found the right partner, we believe that the regional market will continue to expand for the distinctive asset management approach we take to aircraft management.”
Launched in 2007 in Dubai, EAG now operates one of the region’s largest managed fleets of business jets, with 27 aircraft based in Dubai, Oman, India, San Marino, Hong Kong and Nigeria.
The company has a team of 150 aviation specialists across the globe and opened branches in India and, most recently, in San Marino, as well as having a dedicated sales office in the USA.
