Oakland County (Mich.) International Airport, working with the Michigan Business Aviation Association (MBAA), is hosting its first business aviation forum from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. It is expected to draw a range of representatives from manufacturers, service providers and operators, along with at least 17 aircraft on static display and a number of other exhibitors.

The event also will provide a forum to learn about business aviation with discussions scheduled on getting started, operating a corporate flight department and navigating through aircraft transactions. An update will also be provided on FAA medical certification. Oakland County executive L. Brooks Patterson with join officials fromMBAA and the Michigan Transportation Department Office of Aeronautics as keynote speakers.

MBAA chairman John Hatfield said the event will “help energize some new activity for all stakeholders in the area.”
