ZHUKOVSKY, August 27. /TASS/. The total value of contracts for Sukhoi Superjet 100 [SSJ] aircraft signed at MAKS-2015 airshow is over $1 billion, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry Andrey Boginsky said on Thursday.

"I know the contract for supply of 20 aircraft to Yamal air carrier is about $700 mln worth and signed contracts for Superjet amount to over one billion dollars," Boginsky said.

"This MAKS airshow is largely focused on civil aspects," the deputy minister said.

Defense agreements were largely signed at the previous MAKS airshow held in 2013, Boginsky said. "Now these are marketable, commercial contracts," the deputy minister added.

"We consciously focused on civil aspects and regional Russian companies," Boginsky said.
