Pioneers of the Russian Business Aviation Market Getting the Wings of Business Award

The Organizing Committee of the Wings of Business National Award in the field of business aviation has announced candidates for the Award 2016 in the special nominations ‘The Company – Legend’ and ‘The Person –Legend’. The nominees for this prestigious Award were selected by the Board of the Russian United Business Aviation Association (RUBAA). They are those who have significantly contributed to the creation and development of the Russian business aviation market.

Air company “Sirius Aero”, one of the first private business aviation airlines in Russia; Streamline OPS, the pioneer in the flight support in Russia; Center for Civil Aviation Services RusAero, one of the market leaders in flight support; AVCOM CA offering commercial flights and other services in the business aviation segment since early 1990s; Meridian Air Company and Tulpar Air will struggle in the nomination ‘The Company-Legend’.

Evgeny Bakhtin, Leonid Koshelev and Igor Mudrik are represented in the nomination The Person –Legend’.

“Business aviation appeared in Russia just about 15 years ago, but due to the robust development, today it is one of the most progressive industries of the national economy. Working on the list of the Wings of Business Award nominations, we could not ignore those who were pioneers in our business and made a huge contribution to the development of the industry. These brands and persons make our hearts beat quicker, but they do not stop and keep on moving inspiring us by their example for the success and new achievements”, Mikhail Titov, Vice-President of the RUBAA, noted.   

Applications for the 2016 Wings of Business Award will be accepted until January 31, 2017. Voting for the Award candidates is available at www.wingsaward.ru.

“Soon we will have to resolve an even more difficult task - to select the best from the best. We invite industry professionals to take part in the online voting, so that together we will be able to objectively assess and identify real leaders of the Russian business aviation market", Mikhail Titov stressed.

The official Awarding ceremony will be held on February 17, 2017 in Moscow. Guests of the gala-dinner will enjoy the finest dining and a fantastic show.
