Important announcement was made by Embraer at MRO Europe -  all E-Jet operators in Asia Pacific have enrolled in Embraer’s Pool Program. This follows a Pool Program deal signed between Myanmar National Airlines and Embraer for their E190 fleet.

There are currently a total of 60 E-Jets operated by six airlines, including Japan Airlines, in four countries spread across the sub-regions of Asia Pacific (excluding China).

“In a region where our E-Jet operators constantly attain a high schedule performance, the 100% Pool Program enrollment rate is a reflection of our customers’ trust in our excellent support,” said Johann Bordais, President & CEO, Embraer Services & Support. “Cost management is key for airlines and we are committed to delivering value for our customers, anywhere and all the time.”

Embraer’s Pool Program offers full repair coverage for components and parts, airframe maintenance, and unlimited access to a large stock of components at the company’s distribution centers. Operators benefit from significant savings on repair and inventory costs, reduction in required warehousing space and resources required for repair management, while ultimately providing guaranteed performance levels. Singapore is the base for Embraer’s warehouse in the Asia Pacific region.

TechCare, Embraer’s portfolio of products of which the Pool Program is part of, offers a wide range of effective, efficient and competitive solutions designed to every customer to support the growing fleet of Embraer aircraft worldwide and deliver the best after-sales experience in the global aerospace industry.
