Aero-Dienst completes 120-month Global XRS check for Global Jet

Aero-Dienst completes 120-month Global XRS check for Global Jet - Maintenance / Trainings publisher

Aero-Dienst, Nuremberg, completed the most comprehensive maintenance event on a Global Express XRS to the customer’s satisfaction.

The workscope of the 120-month inspection included the dismantling of the complete VIP cabin, extensive structure and system inspections and the major overhaul of the landing gears. Before the partial painting finalized the works’ proceeding all applicable Airworthiness Directives and requested Service Bulletins have been completed.

Aero-Dienst’s four maintenance halls are well utilized. From a 12-year inspection on a Learjet 35 to a 120-month check on a Global Express XRS, major maintenance checks are being carried out for the respective aircraft types. Since 2014 the Global maintenance has been an important part of Aero-Dienst’s service involving Bombardier aircraft. 

“We are extremely satisfied with our decision to entrust the demanding and complex 120- month inspection to Aero-Dienst”, says Bernd Heinrich, Director Maintenance at Global Jet. “Besides from the good, long-term and personal cooperation, what clinched it was the professionalism and reliability with which the Aero-Dienst team has executed all previous maintenance projects.”

The satisfactory execution of the 120-month inspection underlines how much experience Aero-Dienst staff have gathered with the Bombardier flagship, as well as the generally high levels of competence in base maintenance.
