Aeropath launched a comprehensive range of Instrument Flight Procedure training courses, drawing on its extensive experience in flight procedure design to support aviation organisations globally. A subsidiary of Airways International, Aeropath is a specialist provider of instrument flight procedures and aeronautical information management services – designing over 4,500 instrument flight procedures and working with organisations across more than 20 countries.

The Aeropath Procedure Design team has used this experience to develop a training programme that reflects real world operational challenges and evolving industry requirements. The course portfolio covers the full spectrum of procedure design, from foundational PANS-OPS concepts through to advanced Performance Based Navigation, including RNP AR procedures and specialised training areas.

Head of Aeropath Hamish McKoy commented the new training offering reflects growing demand for stronger in-house capability in procedure design: “Aviation organisations are facing increasing complexity in airspace design and operations. There’s a clear need to build and maintain strong internal capability in procedure design, particularly as Performance Based Navigation continues to evolve. Our training is built by experienced procedure designers and is grounded in real operational experience,” he adds. “We’re focused on delivering practical, relevant training that organisations can apply directly within their own environments.”

Aeropath is offering a range of scheduled courses with confirmed dates through to early 2027, alongside flexible training options delivered on request.  Course content can also be customised as required.

Training will be delivered face-to-face at Aeropath’s base in Wellington, New Zealand, or can be delivered for customers in country.  This flexible approach enables Aeropath to work closely with customers to meet their specific training and capability development needs.

Organisations can explore the full range of courses and book training via the Airways International website or contact the Aeropath team to discuss tailored delivery options.
