Airways Aviation Group announced the launch of AMELIA (Airways Management Education & Learning Innovation Academy), a new digital learning platform designed to help further empower students and staff across the Airways Aviation network globally. AMELIA is set to facilitate and enhance the way aviation training and professional development are delivered, offering flexible, accessible and engaging online learning. The platform is designed to connect learners across Airways Aviation campuses worldwide, ensuring they can study various aviation theory courses and subjects irrespective of their geographical location and time zone.

AMELIA gives students the freedom to study on their own time schedule, helping to make aviation training more accessible. This scalable model of learning will benefit those who may not have the means to travel or have limited time due to other commitments in support education and training opportunities for aspiring aviation industry career enthusiasts .

With AMELIA, students will have access to a wide range of resources, including a growing number of interactive modules, recorded sessions, and real-time support. The platform is designed to complement existing classroom and simulator training, providing a modern, blended learning experience that strengthens knowledge retention and operational readiness.

Janet Dalby, Group COO / CEO Australasia & Pacific, commented: “AMELIA creates a more accessible pathway to an aviation career by giving greater opportunities to those who cannot travel or have limited time to commit week to week. As a digital platform that can be accessed anywhere, AMELIA is highly scalable, allowing us to extend quality training to a wide audience. Our vision is to provide universal access so every aspiring aviator has a fair and equal opportunity to learn.”

Romy Hawatt, Founder & Chairman, Airways Aviation Group, stated: “We strongly believe the education and training of our youth is an essential pathway to self-determination and poverty alleviation. Apart from the natural commercial aspects, one of the key objectives of the AMELIA platform was to create the platform to inspire, deliver and support Foundational Aviation education and training to as many underprivileged youth in cities, towns and remote communities as possible.”

The initial soft launch of AMELIA marks the first step towards a fully integrated digital ecosystem across Airways Aviation, aligning with the organisation’s commitment to innovation, accessibility and excellence in aviation education. The official launch of AMELIA will take place at Dubai Airshow 2025, where Airways Aviation will host a dedicated stand to showcase the platform and its capabilities to industry leaders, partners and prospective students.

This platform strengthens Airways Aviation’s position as a global leader in pilot and aviation training, ensuring students and staff have access to an increasing set of the tools needed to excel in this rapidly evolving global aviation industry.
