AMAC Aerospace Announces New Maintenance Contracts

AMAC Aerospace is proud to announce that three new maintenance contracts have been awarded to the facility in Basel, Switzerland. In addition to that a VVIP B747-8i aircraft has been released to service after its first annual maintenance inspection at AMACAerospace in Basel.

An A319 aircraft from a Middle East customer will undergo a heavy maintenance C-Check at AMACAerospace. Two A320 aircraft have already entered AMAC’s facility in Basel, Switzerland for an annual check and a C-Check which will be performed by AMAC’s experienced engineers. In addition to that a new governmental tender was won by AMAC Aerospace. The tender includes a C-Check and cabin modifications on a Boeing aircraft.

Successful return to service of a B747-8i

A VVIP B747-8i aircraft has been released to service after its first annual maintenance inspection atAMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland. The Head-of-State aircraft was outfitted by AMAC in VVIPconfiguration and was delivered with a fully outfitted VVIP cabin in July 2015, which made AMAC the first completion center in the world to re-deliver a fully outfitted B747-8i in VVIP configuration. The maintenance program has been performed by AMAC in a very challenging ground-time in order to meet the customer’s operational requirements. AMAC’s new fourth hangar, which was completed in Q4 2015, as well as teams and shifts were dedicated to this maintenance project, in order to ensure the on-time delivery of the VVIP aircraft.

AMAC Aerospace is proud to announce the return delivery of a VIP B777-200 to an undisclosed Head-of-State customer. The aircraft underwent a maintenance program that included a C-Check in conjunction with a partial cabin removal.

Yet another A340 aircraft has been returned to service after a maintenance input by AMACAerospace. The privately owned VIP A340-600 aircraft from an undisclosed Middle East customer underwent a C-Check within a minimum ground-time at the facility in Basel, Switzerland. In addition, various modifications in conjunction with a partial cabin removal have been carried out upon customer’s request.
