BOC Aviation Pte. Ltd. (“BOC Aviation”) has selected GE Aviation’s CF6 engines to power two new Airbus A330-300 aircraft, to be delivered in 2017. The two aircraft have been placed on long-term lease with EVA Airways Corporation.

“Our choice of GE Aviation’s CF6 engines demonstrates our confidence in the reliability and proven strong operational performance of the engine,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “We have purchased more than 340 engines from GE Aviation and its joint ventures, and we look forward to continue building on this enduring partnership with them to meet the needs of our customers.”

“We are pleased that BOC Aviation has selected the CF6 engine to power their new widebody aircraft,” said Chaker Chahrour, vice president and general manager of Global Sales and Marketing, GE Aviation. “The CF6 engine has a strong track record of performance, incorporating the latest technology to deliver enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.”
