DC Aviation, one of Germany’s largest business jet operator, has obtained CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) Certification for the Gulfstream G650 from the Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrtbundesamt).
“This puts us in a position where we can now offer CAMO services not only for the G450 and the G550, but also for the latest Gulfstream model.” said Oliver Weiss, Director Maintenance at DC Aviation.
DC Aviation not only holds required CAMO Certifications for a significant number of other aircraft types from manufacturers such as Airbus, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, and Embraer. In addition to CAMO services, the Company also offers line and base maintenance for various types of aircraft. Even unexpected repairs are performed expeditiously and in a flexible manner.
Over 80 highly qualified technicians and mechanics work around the clock in DC Aviation’s two maintenance locations at Stuttgart Airport (EDDS), Germany, and Al Maktoum International Airport (OMDW), Dubai.
The 5,000 m² hangar in Stuttgart holds over 6.5 Mil Euro worth of spare parts, special tooling, and testing equipment.
The existing hangar in Dubai has a 5,700 m² footprint and can easily hold several ACJ or BBJ ultra long-range business jets such as the Falcon 7X, the Global Express, or the Gulfstream G650. A new hangar with 6.800 m² footprint will be completed before the end of the year and will enable DC Aviation to significantly extend it´s service range.
