DC Aviation successfully completed the first ADS-B Out modification for a Bombardier Global Express XRS business jet registered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the Implementing Regulation “SPI IR”, all aircraft with a maximum take-off mass in excess of 5.700 kg or a maximum cruising true air speed greater than 250 kts will have to comply with “ADS-B Out” by 1st January 2020.

Due to its 24/365 availability, combined with intelligent planning and a smooth workflow, keeping the cabin removal to a minimum, DC Aviation was able to meet the challenging ground-time of only seven calendar days.

The Company even managed to also cover the central processing system IAC batch-3.3 software upgrade within the same time window. This will not only ensure the safety and compliance of the aircraft, it will also add value.

DC Aviation offers the implementation of this modification also in combination with any other scheduled maintenance or cabin and connectivity projects.

As an EASA-Part-145-certified maintenance operation strategically headquartered in the heart of Western Europe, DC Aviation has already been offering both line and base maintenance services for various aircraft models since 1999. DC Aviation has also acquired the Cayman Islands OTAR 145, Bermuda OTAR 145 and United Arab Emirates CAR-145 approval as well as the CRS (Certificate of Release to Service) for Isle of Man registered aircraft. This assures that customers can depend on maximum safety on a truly permanent basis.
