Diehl Aerosystems, a first-tier supplier and partner for avionics and cabin integration to the big aircraft manufacturers and a retrofitting specialist for aircraft operators, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for establishing a partnership with Regent Aerospace, Valencia/USA. The partnership aims at joining forces for the aircraft cabin retrofit and refurbishment markets in order to offer operators, leasing companies and MRO partners (maintenance, repair, overhaul) an even greater range of products and services from one single source.
In particular, the agreement will enhance the sales opportunities for Diehl Aerosystems in the market segments for LED interiors lighting, floor-to-floor lining and monuments (e.g. lavatories and galleys). In addition, the joint efforts of the two will include services for refurbishment and repairs for F2F lining parts and monuments.
The MoU was signed before the upcoming Aircraft Interiors Middle East event, held in Dubai (UAE) on February 3–4, 2016, and co-located with MRO Middle East. In 2016 Diehl Aerosystems is exhibiting at this event for the first time ever, inviting visitors to booth 539.
Beyond the cooperation with Regent, Diehl is still and further evaluating additional partnerships with other companies for expanding its market potential in complementary market segments.
