Jet Aviation Dubai recently added a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) shop for which it has now received FAA approval.
The company will extend its maintenance services to include non-destructive testing with immediate effect.
With this approval, Jet Aviation Dubai expands its maintenance capabilities to include florescent penetrant testing (FT), ultrasonic testing (UT) and eddy current testing (ET). The company is also working to secure General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) approval for the United Arab Emirates as well as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval.
“We are firmly committed to the ongoing improvement of our services for which we regularly seek the input of our customers,” says Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Dubai. “The decision to expand our capabilities to offer a seamless end-to-end NDT service was made in direct response to customer feedback. We believe our on-site NDT Shop will also help us to improve efficiencies in our Wheel Shop service.”
