Jet Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of its maintenance hub in Dubai to the Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) Service Center Network (SCN). The agreement with Airbus was signed at MEBAA 2016 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Airbus appointed Jet Aviation’s MRO hub in Basel, Switzerland, as part of the ACJ SCN in May this year. To enhance support services for ACJ customers and operators, the aircraft manufacturer is now extending its authorization to include Jet Aviation’s MRO hub in Dubai. The authorization includes line maintenance, retrofits, modifications and cabin and system upgrades.

As a global leader in business aviation, Jet Aviation’s maintenance facility in Dubai is the company’s major MRO hub for the Middle East and a leading MRO service provider in the region. The facility also provides 24/7 AOG support on demand to International Airports in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al Ain. Over the past year, it has supported numerous aircraft in maintenance, recovery and AOG support missions in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, India and other Middle East and African countries.

“We are very pleased to expand the service capabilities of our MRO network to ensure a seamless maintenance experience for ACJ owners and operators in the Middle East,” says Stefan Benz, vice president of Jet Aviation MRO and FBO Operations, EMEA & Asia. “Jet Aviation has established an excellent working relationship with Airbus over the years and we are honored to again be appointed a trusted member of its growing ACJ Service Center Network.”

Airbus Corporate Jets President Benoit Defforge says, “Airbus operates a global support network sized for more than 500 customers and operators around the world. The ACJ Service Center network complements this support network by adding services tailored to corporate-jet operator needs. We value Jet Aviation’s commitment to the highest standards of customer service and support, and are pleased to add its maintenance facilities in Dubai and to our ACJ Service Center Network.”
