Lufthansa Technik has signed a four-year contract with Surinam Airways to provide its total technical support offering on an A340-300 aircraft operated by the airline. Under the terms of the agreement, LHT will provide spare parts pooling services through its warehouse located in Amsterdam while also carrying out all aircraft checks at its facilities in Brussels and Frankfurt.
The contract with the Suriname flag carrier also covers engine support services including lease engine supply, wheels and brakes services and general engineering support. Hamburg-headquartered LHT described the new agreement as “a further success” in its efforts to strengthen its market presence in the Americas region.
