Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed a contract with Greek charter airline GainJet Aviation to provide line maintenance support for its 757-200 aircraft.

MAEL will carry out the work at Birmingham Airport and the agreement marks the first time GainJet has worked with the UK-based MRO.

Athens-headquartered GainJet currently operates a fleet of eight aircraft, which along with the 757, also includes two 737s, one MD-87, two Gulfstreams and two Bombardier aircraft.
