Lufthansa Technik and the Estonian Marabu Airlines have agreed to extend their cooperation. The global market leader in the field of technical aircraft services will now take over the airline’s component supply for several more years as part of a Total Component Support agreement. The new contract supports Marabu’s ongoing Airbus A320neo fleet expansion.
Lufthansa Technik and Marabu have been working together since the airline started operations in 2023. The TCS, which is valued by customers worldwide, offers Marabu access to Lufthansa Technik’s global pool of serviceable spare parts, repair services and logistical support. It ensures high availability and fast processing for almost all replaceable aircraft components. In addition to the TCS, the cooperation between the two companies already includes the supply of consumables and expandables to the airline, aircraft engineering services and certification support by Lufthansa Technik.
Laszlo Molnar, Technical Director at Marabu Airlines, commented: “Our partnership with Lufthansa Technik supports Marabu’s continued growth and ambition. As our fleet expands, having a strong technical partner allows us to maintain the high operational standards our passengers and partners expect.”
Tanja Pustolla, Corporate Sales Executive Europe, Middle East and Africa at Lufthansa Technik stated: “We are honored that Marabu not only extend but also expand their contracts with us. For us being a company in Germany, Marabu is even more special since they offer flights out of several German airports. We have established a very successful working relationship, and it is a privilege being part of Marabu’s growth.”
