Hong Kong-based Metrojet Limited (www.metrojet.com), a business aviation service provider with presence throughout Asia Pacific, is pleased to announce that its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) joint venture in The Philippines – Metrojet Engineering Clark – has recently increased its Bombardier Global 6000 capability up to 60-month inspection level with the corresponding repair station approval from The Federal Aviation Administration of the United States (U.S. FAA).

In addition to the U.S. FAA approval, Metrojet Engineering Clark has also got the same 60-month inspection approval to Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft from Cayman Islands CAACI, and 96-month inspection level approval to Challenger 604 and 605 aircraft from both U.S. and Cayman Islands Authorities.

Metrojet’s maintenance department is a fully certified Repair Station with approvals from the Hong Kong CAD, the United States FAA and is fully authorised to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in China, Macau, Thailand, Philippines, Bermuda, Canada, Isle of Man, Cayman Islands, San Marino and Aruba.  Metrojet is an Authorised Gulfstream Warranty Repair Facility and an Authorised Bombardier Aircraft Service Facility.  Its highly trained engineers have Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, GE and Honeywell APU type ratings, and its Avionics and Airframe engineers have ratings on Gulfstream, Bombardier, Embraer and Hawker aircraft.

Metrojet has expanded its presence in Asia in 2012 with the opening of Metrojet Engineering Clark – a maintenance facility located at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport within the Clark Freeport Zone in the Philippines.  The company has also established in Singapore for aircraft management service, while the China Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) project is underway in Shanghai.
