Nomad Technics has performed its first A-checks on an Airbus A319ACJ. The work included combined A-checks - A1 (6months), A2 (12 months) and A4 (24 months) - as well as work required by service bulletins and due tasks within reduced maintenance ground time. In addition the ADS-B out system was installed before the mandate coming into effect on 7th June 2020 although the date for ADS-B installation has now been moved back to 7th June 2023 under certain preconditions.
The maintenance event included also the cleaning and disinfection of the cabin and the flight deck.We are excited that we have successfully completed A-checks on an Airbus A319ACJ aircraft”, says Christian Sacker, Director Quality, Safety & Compliance at Nomad Technics. „Being able to offer this work opens up new markets for Nomad Technics. Nomad Technics AG, the maintenance division of Nomad Aviation AG based in Basel/Switzerland, is an EASA Part-145 approved organization (Approval No. CH.145.0386) and provides maintenance inspection and non-routine repair work on Bombardier Challenger 300, 600, 850 series, Bombardier Global XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 business jets as well as line maintenance work on the Airbus A320 family. Other types include Cessna’s C525 series aircraft.
The company occupies its own 7’400 m2 hangar together with 7’000 m2 of additional ramp space at the International EuroAirport in Basel / Switzerland. In addition to maintenance the company provides hangarage and parking services for aircraft up to the size of the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 series. Disinfection of any type of business jets is also on offer.
