Oman Air has renewed its Boeing 787 Component Services Program agreement for 10 more years. The renewal supports Oman Air’s sustainable operations and aims to help maintain a high level of dispatch reliability. The agreement extends Boeing-backed support for Oman Air’s 787-9 fleet and reflects the kind of long-term customer trust that helps Boeing’s aftermarket services business grow.

William Ampofo, senior vice president, Parts & Distribution and Supply Chain, Boeing Global Services commented: “Our global reach and original equipment manufacturer expertise allow us to deliver support that helps airlines like Oman Air manage their fleets with confidence."

Capt. Nasser Al Salmi, chief operating officer, Oman Air stated: “This renewal reinforces the trust we have in Boeing as a long-term partner that helps us maintain a reliable 787 operation.”

Boeing’s Component Services Program is a comprehensive support solution for airline component needs.

  • It gives airlines access to a shared pool of serviceable components.
  • Boeing handles repair, overhaul, and modification through Boeing-approved facilities and partners.
  • The program also includes logistics and supply chain support.
  • It is designed to help airlines maintain high configuration stands, improve reliability, and reduce operational costs.

The renewal extends a long-running partnership and keeps Boeing support in place as Oman Air continues operating its 787 fleet.
