Paramount Aviation Services significantly adds much needed Airbus A320 pilot training capacity in North and South America with the FAA certification of its new Airbus A320 full-flight-simulator. Newly certified Airbus A320 FFS full-flight-simulator seamlessly integrates with Paramount’s existing A320 flight-training-device. Together, this technological duo makes up the cornerstone tools of a comprehensive pilot training suite.
Vincent La Forgia, President of Paramount, commented: “FlightSafety International built and delivered the A320 Level “D” FFS to Paramount’s Miami International Airport location and supported the entry into service process every step of the way. As an A320 pilot, I’ve had the opportunity to train on many A320 simulators, without a doubt, this A320 sim is absolutely the best.” This sentiment is shared by multiple customers who have recently flown the simulator.
The new A320 simulator is equipped with New Engine Option engines, Pratt & Whitney PW1100G, and CFM International LEAP-1A; and both Current Engine Option engines, CFM56 and International Aero Engine V2500. It will also provide training for both the Honeywell and Thales Flight Management Systems.
