43 Airschool, located in South Africa, is acquiring an ALSIM’s AL250 flight simulator, providing hope to the aviation training market despite of the coronavirus pandemic damaging the industry. The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation and more than 65 of these have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide.

Mr Attie Niemann, 43 Air school’s CEO and Managing Director, explains the reasons why they have chosen the Alsim’s AL250, “43 Airschools need for Simulator training keeps expanding despite the disruption currently experienced. We see an even bigger need for simulation for training and have had a longstanding relationship and experience with Alsim as we operate 4 of these devices already at our 43 Port Alfred, South Africa campus and have had excellent service and reliability over the past 25 years of using Alsim products”.

Mr Nicolas de Lassus, Alsim’s Sales Manager, emphasizes, “we would like to thank 43 Airschool for their trust. During the Lock Down period due to worldwide pandemic, it was important to help customers and keep answering their needs. Even if we had to assume a very tough period ahead, we believe that this new acquisition will enhance training quality and bring hope to all those future pilots who want to achieve their dream. ALSIM and 43 Airschool are working together for years and both had already recovered from many crises, we look forward to continuing this successful cooperation between our companies.”

43 Air School is a dedicated flying training organisation, catering for the private, general commercial, airline and military sectors. 43 Airschool has extensive experience in training self and corporate sponsored pilots from different cultural backgrounds and from various countries around the world
