RWL German Flight Academy, based in the Mönchengladbach, Northwest of Germany, has recently invested in an ALSIM AL250 simulator to enhance its training capabilities. The AL250 simulator meets initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is certified EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation. This device has been extremely well received since its creation and over 80 simulators have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide.

Jens Küper, RWL German Flight Academy Managing Director, explains the reason of his choice: “After our decision to convert our multi engine fleet to glass cockpits, we decided to acquire the AL250 by ALSIM as the ME IR Trainer. This generic FNPT II fulfills both, our high-quality requirements in terms of IR-Training and a very compact construction. We highly appreciate to start training on the new device soon.”

Nicolas de Lassus, ALSIM Sales Account Manager, adds: “We thank RWL team for their confidence in our flight training solutions and services. With the AL250 they will benefit from a reliable simulator that ensure high quality and cost-effective training. We believe this is the beginning of a successful cooperation between our two companies”.

The RWL German Flight Academy has 50 years of experience in pilot training and is one of the leading flight schools in Germany. Our services include PPL to ATPL Training including advanced UPRT as well as type rating training for B737 and A320. In operation for training are 19 SE and ME aircraft and three flight simulators qualified as FNPT II to FFS Level D.
