Alsim is very happy to announce the sale of an AL42 flight simulator, an exact copy of the Diamond DA42, to ACS Flight Training, a flight training organization based in Perth, Scotland. ACS Aviation is based at Perth Airport, which is the hub of general aviation in Scotland, located centrally between Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow. The contract was signed during the AeroExpo Event, UK, at the beginning of June.

ACS Flight Training, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cloud Global Group Ltd, selected this simulator for a number of reasons, including reliability, product support and confidence in the Alsim team.

ACS has also chosen Alsim’s AL42 simulator as part of their new business plan and this includes the acquisition of a DA42 Twinstar aircraft. The ATO also wanted to comply with the new EASA requirements such as LPV approach training and the great demand for more “airline orientated pilots” with glass cockpit training for the airline industry.

Craig McDonald, ACS Group Director, emphasizes: “Alsim has a good setup for manufacturing and delivering FSTDs and you can really feel that the Alsim team has years of experience in the field of FNPT devices – this is also one of the reasons why ACS Flight Training has chosen the AL42.”
