Alsim is pleased to announce the sale of an AL250 to Aviation Pilot Training, a flight school located in Cape Town, South Africa. The device will be delivered in the first quarter of 2019.

The AL250 contains the best, state-of-the-art technology and is EASA-FNPT II (Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer) certified. It addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch.

Mr Ari Kraak, Aviation Pilot Training Director, explains why they chose Alsim’s AL250: “We are very excited about the product, after researching most simulators worldwide we found that the AL250 is the perfect device for our facility. The service from Alsim and their willingness to adapt the product to our needs was second to none. It’s a clean state of the art device that will attract clients from all parts of the world. We are looking forward to receiving the product and a great long-term relationship with Alsim.”

Mrs Audrey Jeffroy, Alsim Sales Director and Mr Nicolas de Lassus, Alsim Sales Account Manager, emphasize: “We are very excited to welcome a new customer in South Africa and in particular in Cape Town. The city is very attractive and students are coming from all over the world to do their flight training there. APT is a leading flight school. Adding an AL250 flight simulator will enable them to provide high-quality training not only to focus on the South African market but also internationally as it meets EASA and FAA standards. We now have 5 customers in South Africa, some of them for almost 15 years, proving we are well established in this region”.
