TAG Aviation Farnborough Maintenance Services (TFMS) has completed its second 120-month inspection on a Global Express* aircraft.

The on time and on budget delivery of this significant project reinforces TFMS as one of the two TAG ‘Centres of Excellence’ for undertaking heavy base maintenance work on Bombardier.

Since December 2016, TFMS has been hiring and training several type rated aircraft engineers to increase its current capacity by twenty percent in order to provide a greater number of maintenance slots and support services to its customers. “Having recently renewed our Bombardier Authorised Service Facility agreement for another five years we remain committed to advancing our customers’ experience and establishing ourselves as the ‘one stop shop’ of choice for the provision of aircraft detailing services to major base input” said Cyrille Pillet, Vice President Maintenance Operations, TAG Aviation Europe.

Other recent service advancements at TFMS include a new dedicated customer support interface to support Line Maintenance work, a reinforced detailing team with new vehicles, an increased planning resource (to ensure a robust plan for critical path completion on major events) an in-house satellite of Zodiac Business Aircraft Interiors (ZBAI) performing cabin repairs (from soft furnishing and smart repairs to full re-lacquer and re-veneer of woodwork), and an integrated Mobile Repair Team AOG Support Organisation to make full use of TAG Aviation’s network of repair stations.

TAG Aviation has heavy maintenance centres in Geneva and Farnborough and also offers comprehensive maintenance services in Sion, Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, Madrid, Lisbon, Hong Kong and Lomé in Togo. TAG Aviation Maintenance Services has certification to work on over fifty types of aircraft.
