TAG Aviation’s Farnborough Maintenance Services (TFMS) has been approved to become the first UK-based Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre to support BR710 engines installed on Bombardier Global Express* aircraft.

TFMS recently successfully completed a second 120-Month Inspection on a Global Express and this approval is a logical addition to its already extensive suite of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) dealerships and Authorised Service Centre approvals. It is part of TFMS’ strategy to become the leading ‘one stop shop’ Line and Base Maintenance provider for Dassault and Bombardier aircraft in the greater London area.

“We have made significant investment in parts, tooling and staff training in order to be able to offer this additional service to our customers” said, Cyrille Pillet, Vice President Maintenance Operations, TAG Aviation Europe. “With this approval comes the service delivery commitment to the OEM and our customers and we are very proud to sign this partnership with Rolls-Royce.”

Andy Robinson, Rolls-Royce, Deputy SVP Services, Civil Aerospace and VP Services,  Business Aviation, said, “For twenty years Rolls-Royce has been the leading engine supplier for business aircraft and our customers trust in us to deliver outstanding in-service support. Collaborating with the world’s most experienced maintenance providers ensures industry leading service levels for our growing global customer base.”

In addition, TFMS will now also be able to support European operators from its base at TAG Farnborough Airport (London’s award winning airport dedicated to business aviation) through TAG Aviation Maintenance Services’ extensive Repair Station network and the centralised TAG Aviation AOG-MRT (Aircraft on Ground-Mobile Repair Team). TFMS is already fully capable of supporting BR710 Line and Base Maintenance requirements but the Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre status further helps to streamline performance by reducing aircraft downtime. It will become fully effective from August 1  2017.
