Velocity Maintenance Solutions, an FAA-certified provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has announced a significant expansion of its facilities at Wilmington Airport (ILG) in Delaware, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy and increasing capacity to support a growing customer base. Currently operating from a 20,000-square-foot hangar at ILG, the company is preparing to relocate operations into an adjacent 75,000-square-foot facility that includes 40,000 square feet of dedicated hangar space. The move, expected to be completed by month-end, will effectively double Velocity’s hangar capacity, enabling the company to accommodate a greater volume of scheduled maintenance, inspections and other aircraft support services.

The expansion also positions Velocity for continued workforce growth. As the company broadens its service offering and market presence, it plans to add certified technicians and additional aviation professionals across the Wilmington region over the next 12 to 18 months.

Velocity provides a comprehensive range of MRO solutions, including aircraft-on-ground support, scheduled maintenance, avionics services, pre-purchase inspections, non-destructive testing, advanced digital dent assessment and mapping, and parts procurement. Complementing its fixed-base capabilities is a fleet of 14 Mobile Repair Team vehicles that deliver nationwide field support, with a particular focus on the U.S. East Coast.

The MRT fleet is strategically positioned at Wilmington Airport (ILG), Teterboro Airport (TEB), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Scottsdale Airport (SDL), Cincinnati Municipal Airport-Lunken Field (LUK) and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), allowing Velocity to rapidly respond to operator requirements across key business aviation markets.

Bryan Weiss, CEO, Velocity Maintenance Solutions commented: “The expansion of our facilities at ILG represents an important next step in Velocity’s continued growth. Moving from our current 20,000-square-foot hangar into a 75,000-square-foot facility gives our team substantially more capacity and flexibility to support our customers, expand our scheduled maintenance capabilities and accommodate larger and more complex projects.”

Michael Baker, President of Velocity Maintenance Solutions, stated: “Our team has considerable experience supporting all principal business aircraft OEMs, including Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, Textron and Embraer. We have built our operation around safety, quality, responsiveness and service excellence. The additional space at ILG will allow us to support more aircraft simultaneously, improve workflow and turnaround times, and continue expanding the level of service we provide to both existing and prospective customers.”
