AERO Friedrichshafen 2024 was a success aor AURA AERO. Together with and Societe Generale Equipment Finance company announced a cooperation in the field of aircraft financing. In order to facilitate access to the INTEGRAL family, AURA AERO brand new two-seater aircraft designed for pilot training, aerobatics and leisure, SGEF will offer buyers financing at attractive interest rates. Depending on the credit rating of the buyers, terms can extend beyond the seven-year period that is customary in the light aircraft sector.
In a context where the need for new pilots is estimated around 300.000 in the next 15 years, the need for pilot aircraft will be more important than ever, and pilot schools will benefit from this agreement for the renewal of their fleets or the purchase of new aircraft. In parallel, aviation clubs will be able to benefit from the latest generation of eco-efficient aircraft, less fuel-consuming and therefore less CO2 emission-emitting, contributing to the decarbonization of their activities.
Drew McEwen, Chief Commercial Officer of AURA AERO commented: "SGEF is a partner with exceptional experience in general aviation projects. With this collaboration, we are making it easier for pilot schools and aviation clubs to decide in favor of INTEGRAL, our new generation two-seater aircraft."
Werner Slavik, Head of Aviation, SGEF, said: "The decarbonization of aviation is a challenge that all stakeholders must face. As a member of the Societé Générale Group, we take this task very seriously and recognize how important it is for our customers. We are therefore delighted to be able to make our contribution through this collaboration, in particular by financing INTEGRAL E."
One more reason to celebrate - Norges Luftsportforbund, the Norwegian air sports federation which covers all air sports in Norway, signed an agreement for buying one INTEGRAL E. Based in Elverum, this federation will operate the electric aircraft for towing gliders at the national center for gliding.
INTEGRAL E is an electric two-seater aircraft operated by batteries that can be charged in less than 30 minutes. Available in R (leisure and aerobatics) and S (pilot training) versions, this eco-efficient and economic light aircraft will help flying clubs and pilot schools reach their aim to decarbonize their operations. It will also be available in a tow-plane version for gliders. Largely made of carbon-wood, INTEGRAL E combines lightweight, resistance and easy implementation, maintenance and repair. Its cockpit is the largest in its category with a new generation control panel and ergonomic seats for maximized use of the aircraft.
Drew McEwen, Chief Commercial Officer of AURA AERO, stated: “We are proud to welcome our first customer from Norway for the INTEGRAL family and honored to have been selected by this major aeronautic federation.”
John Eirik Laupsa, General Secretary of the Norges Luftsportforbund, commented: “Norway is a leading country in decarbonizing aviation. We are thrilled to be contributing at our level by using this brand new electric aircraft for our gliding activities soon!”
