The European tour of Daher Aircraft’s “go-anywhere” Kodiak 900 multi-role airplane continues this week at the France Air Expo 2026 event in Lyon, France, where it will join a fast, efficient TBM 960 to represent the company’s single-engine turboprop-powered general aviation product line. Kodiak 900’s presence in Europe highlights the Kodiak family’s unique combination of operational flexibility, short takeoff and landing capability, payload capacity and low operating costs for a full range of operators. Performing the European demonstration tour is the Kodiak 900 Multi-Mission Aircraft, which is tailored for operations that range from utility duties, humanitarian deployment, public safety and government service to environmental monitoring and surveillance.

Since arriving in Europe during April, the Kodiak 900 Multi-Mission Aircraft has been flown by prospective customers and operators, as well as exhibited at three key events: the AERO Friedrichshafen show in Germany; France’s celebration of aviation at La Ferté-Alais; and the Air Meeting at the French Air and Space Force’s Air Base 709 in Cognac-Châteaubernard. France Air Expo is the leading general aviation exhibition in France. To be held June 4-6 at Lyon-Bron Airport, this annual event brings together key industry players from the Francophone and European aviation markets.

Nicolas Chabbert commented: “As a benchmark French manufacturer of general aviation aircraft, our participation at France Air Expo provides an excellent opportunity to meet directly with aircraft owners, operators and pilots in their home market. Many of them will see the Kodiak 900 for the first time, providing a better understanding of how this modern, reliable and highly versatile aircraft can perform missions where others cannot.”

Kodiak 900 was launched in 2022 by Daher Aircraft as an evolution of its cornerstone Kodiak 100, combining increased speed, payload and passenger comfort with the rugged operational DNA that defines the Kodiak airplane family. The Kodiak 900 features a 3.9-foot (1.19-meter) fuselage stretch, cruise speeds of 210 KTAS and a range of approximately 1,130 nautical miles, while delivering improved operating economics through reduced fuel consumption. Daher Aircraft manufacturers and assembles the Kodiak 900 and Kodiak 100 in the U.S. at Sandpoint, Idaho.

Joining the Kodiak 900 at France Air Expo will be a TBM 960, which represents the Daher Aircraft’s TBM family – recognized as the world’s fastest single-engine turboprop business aircraft line. Produced at Daher’s Tarbes industrial facility in southwestern France, the TBM 960 – and the newly-launched TBM 980 version with third-generation Garmin G3000® PRIME avionics – set the standards for speed, efficiency and advanced technology in the high-performance turboprop segment.
