Diamond Aircraft returned from a highly successful appearance at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026. Marked by multiple premieres, strong customer engagement, and important program milestones, AERO 2026 proved to be a standout event for the company. The show represented a commercial high point, with Diamond Aircraft reaching a new record for contracts signed during AERO, underscoring continued market confidence in its aircraft portfolio. Throughout the four‑day event, the Diamond stand welcomed a steady flow of visitors, reflecting strong interest from private owners, operators, flight schools, and industry partners alike.

Diamond Aircraft was supported on the stand by colleagues from across the organization, representing the breadth of its expertise, from engineering and flight operations to sales and customer support. The team was joined by colleagues from Austro Engine, Diamond Aircraft Sales Partners and Distributors from across Europe and beyond, and representatives of Aviation Academy Austria, with whom Diamond presented the DA20i Katana, following its reintroduction to European manufacturing.

A key highlight of AERO 2026 was the public debut of three new demonstrator aircraft – the DA42‑VI, DA50 RG, and DA62 – each showcasing a range of newly introduced product features and refinements. The aircraft displays were complemented by a new ‘Pilot Lounge’, and by a “sample tower” that allowed visitors to explore tactile samples of Diamond’s interior and exterior materials and finishes.

The sample tower also served as the launch platform for DADEVISTA, Diamond Aircraft’s new 3D aircraft configurator, which was officially unveiled during the show. At a dedicated side event, Luca Giaquinta, CEO of Diamond Aircraft Germany, introduced the concept and development of the configurator. DADEVISTA enables prospective owners and operators to define mission profiles, explore configurations, and gain early insight into payload, range, operating considerations, and design options, serving as a key entry point into Diamond Aircraft’s expanding digital sales ecosystem. Visitors to Diamond Aircraft’s stand were able to experiment with the new configurator via screens integrated into the sample tower.

Community engagement played a central role at AERO 2026. On the first day of the show, Diamond Aircraft hosted a Diamond Flying Club (DFC) stand party, welcoming around 60 guests, many of whom flew their own Diamond aircraft to Friedrichshafen. The afternoon combined informal networking with the premiere of several new product videos and presentations, including a talk by DA62 owner René Amstrup, who shared insights from his recent round‑the‑world journey with his family in their Diamond Aircraft, and a welcome from Chief Pilot Martin Scherrer, who introduced the Diamond Aircraft flight display team.

Through the Diamond Flying Club, Diamond Aircraft continues to strengthen a global community of owners, operators, and enthusiasts, fostering closer communication and interaction between customers and the company.

AERO 2026 also marked further growth of Diamond Aircraft’s Authorized Training Center (DATC) program, with the addition of AEROTOURS (Germany) and Euro Flight Training (United Kingdom). Launched earlier this year, the DATC program recognizes flight schools operating Diamond aircraft that meet strict standards for facilities, curriculum, safety, and operational excellence. Certified schools benefit from enhanced OEM support, international visibility, and the right to use official Diamond Aircraft branding.

Diamond Aircraft’s presence at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 demonstrated not only strong market momentum, but also the company’s continued focus on innovation, customer experience, and long‑term partnerships. The many premieres, record commercial success, and high level of engagement made this year’s show a milestone moment for Diamond Aircraft and its worldwide community.

Jane Wang, Director for Sales, Marketing, and Flight Operations at Diamond Aircraft Austria commented: “AERO 2026 was an outstanding moment for Diamond Aircraft. The record number of contracts signed, the exceptionally positive response to our new demonstrator aircraft, and the enthusiasm surrounding DADEVISTA show just how strongly our message is resonating. Most importantly, the show reaffirmed the strength of the Diamond community, from customers and training partners to owners who flew in to join us. That energy, engagement, and shared passion are what continue to drive Diamond forward.”
