Two Embraer Phenom 100 have recently started operations in Argentina, making the debut of Embraer Executive Jets in the country’s business aviation market. These first aircraft registered in Argentina are operating as charter and private flights. A fleet of over 340 Phenom 100 entry-level jets is flying worldwide, with more than 100 in Latin America alone.

“We are thrilled with the initial operations of the Phenom 100 jets in Argentina, a market that is showing signs of recovery. Embraer’s executive jets deliver cutting-edge technology, premium comfort, generous baggage capacity, low operating costs and easy operation to meet Argentinian business aviation market needs,” said Gustavo Fonseca, Vice-President of Sales for Embraer Executive Jets in Latin America.

In January, the Argentinian aviation authority (Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil de Argentina - ANAC) certified Embraer Executive Jets’ Service Center in Sorocaba, Brazil, for maintenance of the Company’s complete business jet portfolio under ANAC registration. In addition, an Embraer authorized service center in Buenos Aires will soon be named.

The Phenom 100 has a four passenger cabin, in its standard configuration, but it is capable of carrying up to seven passengers with one pilot. Its 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 km) range, with NBAA IFR reserves, enables non-stop flights from Buenos Aires to Bariloche, São Paulo, Brazil or Santiago, Chile.

Embraer Executive Jets’ fleet exceeds 1,100 aircraft, which are in operation in 63 countries and are supported by the Company’s global Customer Support and Services network of 70 service centers.
