Pilatus presented its latest PC-12 NG, the 2016 model, at this year's European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva.
Already an extremely versatile machine, the PC-12 NG has been improved even further for 2016. The best-selling single-engine turboprop new boasts a fiveblade composite propeller and a variety of aerodynamic enhancements resulting in a higher cruise speed, better takeoff and climb performance and a greater range – all for the same fuel consumption. The PC-12 NG's maximum cruise speed has been increased to 285 knots (528 km/h). The takeoff distance required is just 793 m (2,600 ft) to the 15 m screen height. At maximum takeoff mass the new PC-12 NG is capable of attaining a cruising altitude of 8,535 m (28,000 ft) almost three minutes faster than previous models. The aircraft's maximum range has also been slightly extended to 3,405 km (1,840 NM) with VFR reserves.

New Designworks Interiors
Pilatus joined forces with Designworks, a BMW Group Company, to create a range of innovative and stylish designs, using new materials and colours, for the spacious PC-12 NG cabin. The two companies have been working together for over a decade, united in their desire to offer customers a choice of modern exterior and interior designs. The PC-12 comes equipped with a toilet, a fully integrated luggage area and a completely flat floor – unlike many other aircraft which have a recessed, tiered central aisle. Passenger comfort is much enhanced as a result. A new five-blade propeller keeps noise to an absolute minimum, making the cabin experience even more pleasant.

Proven all-rounder
The worldwide fleet of almost 1400 PC-12s has now clocked up over five million hours in the air. With its spacious cabin and unique cargo door, the PC-12 NG is well adapted to a wide range of missions. This versatility is much appreciated by owners and generates a high level of demand for the PC-12 NG.
In the 2015 survey of best customer service conducted by "Professional Pilot Magazine", Pilatus was voted first in the turboprop category for the 14th time in a row. No other aircraft manufacturer in the jet or turboprop category has ever held the number one position for so long.
From the end of 2017 Pilatus will have another all-rounder on the market and a mutually complementary product family: the PC-12 NG and the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet.
