At AERO Friedrichshafen 2017 Diamond Aircraft and Flight Calibration Services Ltd (FCSL), a UK based flight inspection service provider and flight inspection system manufacturer, signed a firm order for a fourth DA62.

This order for a fourth Diamond DA62 in less than two years reflects the strong growth experienced by FCSL, both in the UK and overseas. International growth has been especially strong in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In Europe FCSL is providing services for every airport in Ireland, Portugal, Lithuania and Malta. In the Middle East, FCSL has long term service contracts in Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, the UAE (including Abu Dhabi & Dubai International Airports), Kuwait and Qatar. Recent contracts in Africa include Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Matt Taiyeb, FCSL Director said: “The DA62 has proven to be a good platform for our new generation, state-of-the-art flight inspection system and is one of the foundations of our continued growth. As good citizens, minimising the impact of our operations on the environment is one of our key objectives. The DA62’s performance together with low fuel burn, reduced emissions and reduced noise profile has allowed FCSL to deliver on this objective whilst offering a reliable, cost effective, tailored flight inspection solution to our customers.”

Amila Spiegel, Sales Director Civil Aircraft, added: “We are happy that our DA62 is part of the continuous growth of FCSL. FCSL’s success story shows that this modified special version of the DA62 is a perfect tool for flight calibration, as it is providing attractive payload with economical fuel burn as well as low-maintenance costs.”
