RTI Group (Russia) and the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan are negotiating joint production of radar stations intended for armed forces, RTI Deputy CEO Svetlana Afanasyeva told RIA Novosti at MAKS-2015 airshow.

RTI is the large Russian holding company specializing in development and production of high-tech products and solutions using its own technologies in the area of microelectronics.

“At MAKS-2015 airshow Kazakh Minister of Defense Imangali Tasmagambetov visited our stand. He was interested in our products. We have negotiated starting joint production of radar stations designed for armed forces,” she said.

The core area of activities of RTI companies is development of ground equipment for strategic aerospace defense systems operated in Russian Federation. RTI develops rapidly deployable radar stations, over-the-horizon radars for detecting surface and air targets, radar stations with high operational readiness, etc.
