We are excited to announce that flight test aircraft #3 (FTA-3) of our Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) program touched down at Grant County International Airport in Washington State, USA, at 11:24 am on April 1 (JST) (7:24 pm on March 31 in local time).
FTA-3 took off from Nagoya Airfield at 9:23 am on March 13 (JST), and arrived at the Airport, via Guam International Airport, Majuro International Airport in Republic of the Marshall Islands, Honolulu International Airport and San Jose International Airport.
The total flight distance and time were approximately 14,000 km and 19 hours and 48 minutes respectively.
With FTA-3’s arrival to the U.S., we now have a total of four flight test aircraft based at our Moses Lake Flight Test Center in Washington State.
We expect to be at full flight test operations within the coming weeks
