It is official - AURA AERO became full aircraft manufacturer, from design to production! AURA AERO obtained EASA PART 21J approval, complementing PART 21G manufacturing approval obtained back in November 2021. This approval, delivered by the EASA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, follows a 24-month audit on the Toulouse-Francazal site, where the manufacturer’s design office is located.
Jérémy Caussade, Co-founder and President of AURA AERO, commented: « In the name of all the teams at AURA AERO, I can say that we are very proud to obtain this agreement today, a new step that validates our organization as well as our choices and our industrial maturity. Just five years after launching the company, we have already made considerable progress and the orders and marks of confidence that we receive encourage us to continue on this path!»

The PART 21J approval certifies that AURA AERO aircraft are compliant with the aeronautical regulation in terms of design, manufacturing and equipment in the European context. It also certifies that the manufacturer uses regulatory airworthiness documents. Two years after launching serial production for the INTEGRAL family – the two-seater designed for training, leisure and aerobatics – and after the first flight of INTEGRAL S last July, AURA AERO will shortly put INTEGRAL R back into flight, and the tests of the first INTEGRAL E aircraft – the full-electric version – have already started. ERA, the hybrid-electric regional transport 19-seater, the decarbonized solution for regional point to point air mobility, should enter into service in 2028.
