By the end of 2021, the total flight time of helicopters under warranty maintenance and servicing produced by the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (U-UAP) of the Russian Helicopters Holding Company (Rostec State Corporation) amounted to 26,430 hours. The flight time of such helicopters has increased by almost 50% compared to 2020.

"Over the past year, more than 180 U-UAP helicopters of almost all types were under warranty maintenance and after-sales service. The rotorcraft are successfully operated in different regions of the world from the Arctic zone of Russia to the countries of Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Despite the difficult epidemiological situation, we have done and will undoubtedly continue to do our best to ensure the high airworthiness of our rotorcraft for the customers," said Alexey Kozlov, the U-UAP's managing director.

The Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant provides a full range of after-sales service for the supplied products, including warranty maintenance and servicing, subscription servicing, fabrication and supply of spare parts and air equipment, upgrade and support of the helicopter life cycle.

The main objective of warranty maintenance and servicing is to maintain the airworthiness of the rotorcraft. Standard conditions of warranty maintenance imply 1 year's maintenance or 300 hours' flight time. The customer can add extra services to the contract and extend the warranty period, for instance, up to 3 years. The contract between the managing organization and the customer can also stipulate training of technical and flight personnel in the country of the operating company or at the U-UAP training center.
