Air Costa (LB, Vijayawada) is set to expand its operational coverage across India after it secured a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the country's Ministry of Civil Aviation last week.
Since its launch in 2012, Air Costa's operations have been restricted to India's Southern Region whose confines include the Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad metropolitan areas.
With the NOC's issuance, deputy CEO Vivek Choudhary told India's Hindu Business Online that the airline will now expand into the Lucknow, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, and Delhi Int'l markets in summer 2016.
At present, Air Costa operates two EMB-170s and two EMB-190s on flights to Bangalore Int'l, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Hyderabad Int'l, Jaipur, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, and Chennai.
