An airplane performed an emergency landing at the airport in the Bulgarian Black Sea port of Burgas after a passenger on board claimed a bomb had been planted on the aircraft.
The airplane was conducting a charter flight between the Polish capital of Warsaw and the Egyptian city of Hurghada, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) informs.
Following the bomb threat, the crew demanded an emergency landing.
The passengers have been taken away from the aircraft and their identity is being established, with the airplane inspected at a safe distance.
The airport in Burgas was the site of a terrorist attack in July 2012 when a suicide bomber blew himself up on a passenger bus transporting Israeli tourists.
